Person-Centred Therapist in Leeds & Online

Counselling is a collaborative relationship, and I invite you to get in touch if you want to know more about working with me.

I look forward to our journey together, working towards your goals for counselling.

Hi, I'm Jamie.

A person-centred therapist within the LGBTQ+ community, supporting clients online throughout the UK and in Leeds city centre.

Like many people, I have had varied jobs and roles over the years, but they all had one thing in common: helping others. In 2010, I decided to go on a journey of self-discovery on a counselling course in the centre of Manchester, where my journey of person-centered therapy began.

I work primarily on a remote basis, holding sessions via video calls, but I also have limited face-to-face meetings.

How are you feeling?

Life is troubling at times and can feel overwhelming. You may be struggling to cope or feel lost or unrecognisable to the person you once knew. Like many others, you may be unsure of what you’re feeling or even how to cope, leaving you sad, confused, frustrated, and even afraid.

Personally, you may be feeling anxiety, low moods, and frustrations with the challenges of day-to-day life. Perhaps you are struggling with your relationship and have decided to reach out for support. Traumatic events in your past have made it difficult for you to move forward on your own.

What is a person-centred therapist?

As a person-centred therapist, my aim is to provide a safe place for you so I can support you on your journey and throughout your process. This, in turn, will allow you to make sense of your thoughts and feelings.

Working this way will help to empower you to make your own decisions and explore solutions that work for you.

I work primarily on a remote basis, holding sessions via video calls, but I also have limited face-to-face meetings.
