How are you feeling?
Life is troubling at times and can feel overwhelming. You may be struggling to cope, feel lost or even unrecognisable. Like many others, you may be unsure of what you’re feeling or even how to cope, leaving you sad, confused, frustrated, and even afraid. This might leave you struggling with the challenges of everyday life and in your relationships, and now is the time to reach out for support.
Hello everyone, I'm Jamie...
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I understand that considering therapy and finding the right therapist can feel daunting or even nerve-wracking, so I truly appreciate the steps you’ve taken to be here.
I’m an accredited therapist with a BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Counselling. If you’re feeling isolated, rejected, hurt, or sad—or if you come from a marginalised community or feel like you don’t quite fit in—counselling can provide a safe, calm space to talk. I will support you as you explore challenging thoughts and emotions with empathy and without judgement.
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community myself, I understand what it’s like to feel different from what society often calls ‘normal.’ I believe that our differences are what make each of us unique and beautiful, and I work with clients from this place of acceptance and respect.
My own life experiences have shown me how important it is to have a secure therapy space to process traumatic events and difficult feelings. It is a privilege to support my clients on their healing journeys.
I am passionate about helping people heal from childhood trauma, build self-confidence, and strengthen their relationships—with themselves and with others. I work well with individuals who want to be kinder to themselves and are curious about developing healthier boundaries.
I am dedicated and experienced in supporting people from marginalised backgrounds and those affected by loss. Through cultivating self-compassion and nurturing, my goal is to help enhance your self-worth and self-acceptance, while reducing fear and anxiety around painful emotions.
Having someone alongside you on your healing journey is so important—it helps you feel less alone and isolated. I genuinely care about the wellbeing of everyone I work with and welcome people from all walks of life.
I also accept various private health insurances, including Bupa.

What is an Integrative therapist?
As an integrated therapist, I believe that no single therapy strategy can benefit every client. Instead, I consider each client as a unique individual and their circumstances, using aspects of several approaches to support you in your exploration and problem-solving.
The person-centred approach is at the core of my work, offering empathy, understanding, and acceptance. I also integrate psychodynamic and transactional analysis theories into my practice by acknowledging the importance of the past and patterns of feeling, thinking, and behaviour in the present moment.
As your therapist, I want to help you at every stage of the therapeutic process. Together, we will come up with solutions that work for you by providing you with compassion, empathy, honesty, and a non-judgmental attitude. I believe you are the expert in your life and that you deserve a space to find those answers.
What is an accredited professional?
The goal of being accredited by a professional body is to acknowledge the accomplishment of elevated levels of expertise, experience, and growth in the fields of counselling and psychotherapy.
A person is deemed safe, competent, and ethical to practice if they are registered or accredited with a professional body. This requires individuals to have completed a significant amount of training and experience that has been authorised by their member organisation.
