Person-Centred Therapist
& Couples Counsellor

Life is troubling at times and can often feel overwhelming,
here, is where you get the help you need.

How are you feeling?

Life is troubling at times and can feel overwhelming. You may be struggling to cope, feel lost or unrecognisable to the person you once knew. Like many others you may be unsure of what you’re feeling or even how to cope, leaving you sad, confused, frustrated and even afraid.

Personally, you may be feeling anxiety, low moods and frustrations with the challenges of day to day life. Perhaps you are struggling with your relationship and have decided to reach out for support as an individual or as a couple. Past events that have been traumatic have left you finding it difficult to move forward on your own.

Hi, I'm Jamie

A person-centred therapist and couples counsellor, supporting clients throughout Leeds and Drighlington.

Like many people, I have had varied jobs and roles over the years but they all had one thing in common, helping others.  In 2010 I decided to go on a journey of self-discovery on a counselling course in the centre of Manchester, where my journey of person centred therapy began.

I can help you with...

Whatever it is you are experiencing right now, I can empower you to feel more optimistic about the future.

I will support you towards self-acceptance and feel more comfortable in your own skin, allowing you to be more spontaneous and open to new challenges without feeling anxious and fearful.

Here are some of the areas I can help you with:

  • Overcome difficult and uncomfortable emotions
  • Process traumatic events
  • Creating, maintaining and understanding your relationships
  • Identifying unhealthy relationships and building healthy boundaries
  • Confusion about your gender and sexuality whilst dealing with the feelings of shame
  • Support with addiction
  • Helping you to gain closure and acceptance of events you cannot change

What is a person-centred therapist?

As a person-centred therapist, my aim is to provide a safe place for you so I can support you on your journey and throughout your process. This in turn will allow you to make sense of your thoughts and feelings.

Working this way will help to empower you to make your own decisions and exploring solutions that work for you.

I currently offer sessions face to face, online via video calling or by telephone.
