Sexuality is about your sexual feelings, thoughts, attractions and behaviours towards other people. Although it's very common to be attracted to multiple genders, some find it troublesome to feel acceptance of the self.
Some are raised in a traditional home where it is taboo to talk about the subject of sexuality, which can be puzzling and lonesome if you had questions about your own sexuality.
Maybe, you have recently discovered your own sexuality, feeling fearful of what others will think, leaving you scared and repressed of not being able to come out as your true self.
Possibly, your sexuality is playing a role in your compulsive behaviours and substance misuse, making it a challenge to have healthy and fulfilling relationships with the self and others.
As a caring and non-judgmental therapist, I will provide a place for you to disclose any of those topics in a space where you can be yourself and feel safe.
Like many people, I have had varied jobs and roles over the years but they all had one thing in common, helping others. In 2010 I decided to go on a journey of self-discovery on a counselling course in the centre of Manchester, where my journey of person centred therapy began.
After working overseas for some time, I moved to Leeds and graduated as a Person-Centred Therapist. I have been blessed to be a part of a fantastic organisation that offers generic counselling in which I have experience and knowledge in many different issues, as well as my private work and ongoing training.
I have also been trained in Couples Counselling where I empower couples to have a deeper understanding of what's troubling their relationships and to have better communication. I also became an individual member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (B.A.C.P) where I work within professional standards and ethical guidelines.
If you want any further information or have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you so much for reading about services and my journey I hope to hear from you soon.
